Obtained by extraction from the fruiting body of mannentake (Ganoderma lucidum).

In Japan

  • A bittering agent obtained by extraction from the fruiting body of the mushroom mannentake (lingzhi). No standards for use are set.
  • When used to add bitterness, it can be written under the group name “苦味料” (bittering agent). When written by substance name, the alternative name “マンネンタケ抽出物(子実体)” and the short names “レイシ” and “レイシ(子実体)” can also be used.
