- A type of synthetic resin that may be used only as a chewing gum base material (chewing gum base) and as a coating agent covering the skin of fruits and fruit vegetables (standards for use).
- When used as a chewing gum base material, it can be written with the group name “ガムベース” (gum base) (CAA, Annex to the Food Labeling Standards explanatory notice).
