In Japan
- A mixture of hydrocarbons obtained from petroleum, used as a processing agent.
- Under the standards for use, it can be used only for release when dividing bread dough with an automatic divider and when baking, and the amount remaining in the bread is set at less than 0.10%.
- When labeled by substance name, the short name is “パラフィン” (paraffin) and the alternative name is “ミネラルオイルホワイト” (white mineral oil).
